SALT LAKE CITY -- There's more trouble for the company that runs the Salt Lake City marathon.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports the landlord of Devine Racing's Salt Lake City offices has filed a lawsuit in state court, saying Devine owes it nearly $13,000 in past due rent and late fees.
The vice president of race operations says he is unaware of the lawsuit.
Devine has been plagued with financial problems. Its checks have bounced, winners haven't been paid, and it's thousands of dollars behind in payments to vendors and police agencies.
