SALT LAKE CITY--The attorneys for a man charged with the killing of a corrections officer will appear in court today over a letter presumably involving their client.
Written from a jail inmate to another judge, the letter presumably involves Curtis Allgier.
Allgier has been charged with capital murder for the death of officer Stephen Anderson during a 2007 escape attempt.
Allgier's attorneys argue the so called "Cobb letter" should stay sealed, but media lawyers want it made public.
