A study funded by the Clorox Company has come up with a list of the germiest jobs. And it doesn't include trash collectors or construction workers.

Teachers are on the top of the list. Salt Lake County Epidemiologist Ilene Risk says she's not surprised because they have contact with so many kids who can carry germs.

Radio DJs make the top five. Risk says that one is harder to figure out. And one man told us, "They don't do anything except sit there and play music."

Also on the list are bankers and accountants, who touch money.

Careerbuilder.com reports that for the study, a team collected samples from private offices and cubicles in Tucson, Ariz., and Washington, D.C. The study tested more than 616 surfaces in the office and figured out which harbored the most germs. Then, researchers studied surfaces in different workplaces to determine which were the "germiest."

Here is the list of the top nine:

  1. Teacher
  2. Accountant
  3. Banker
  4. Radio DJ
  5. Doctor
  6. Television producer
  7. Consultant
  8. Publicist
  9. Lawyer
