(KSL News) A Utah man is one five guards for military security firm Blackwater Worldwide indicted in a deadly Baghdad shooting that ended with 17 Iraqi civilians dead.

Former Marine Donald Ball has been ordered to turn himself in on Monday.

Witnesses say Ball and his colleagues opened fire in a busy Baghdad intersection for no reason back in 2007. But Blackwater says its guards were ambushed by insurgents while responding to a car bombing.

It's not yet known what the guards will be charged with, but lawyers are braced for charges of assault and manslaughter.
