(KSL News) For once, Utahns are feeling a bit ahead of the curve when it comes to the price at the pump.

The average price for a gallon of gas in Utah is $1.89 compared to the national average of $1.90. But overnight, we found it much lower.

Our photographer found a gallon of unleaded selling for $1.67 at the Maverik near 6900 South and 1300 East. Just down the road on 9000 South, he found gas at two stations selling for $1.63.
