(KSL News) One bad lane change caused a domino effect that shut down a busy highway during the rush hour commute this morning. The accident happened around 7 a.m. on S.R. 201 near 3200 West.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Jason Hunter said, "Fortunately, it was westbound rather than eastbound at this time of the morning, but yes, it did have a substantial traffic impact."

Troopers say one driver tried to change lanes on westbound Highway 201 and then overcorrected when he saw cars in the other lane, hitting the cement barrier.

That propelled the vehicle into a truck, which then flipped and hit another truck.

All lanes of traffic were closed while the accident was cleared.

Troopers have not said if anyone will be cited in connection with the crash.
