Police have arrested a Spanish Fork man they say was giving beer to young girls. He also allegedly then sexually assaulted one of them.

Court documents say 21-year-old Curtis Peterson approached a group of young teenage girls and said he could get them beer. They agreed and went with him as he went to stores and got the drinks.

Police Lt. Steve Adams said, "He picked them up I think it was 9:30 or 10 at night and then drove around with them for quite some time."

Some of the girls drank, others didn't. One 14-year-old told police she eventually passed out and when she woke, the suspect was sexually assaulting her.

Peterson is now in the Utah County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
