(KSL News) A teenage gang member has been convicted of killing a man outside an Ogden convenience store.

A jury convicted 16-year-old Diego Mora of first-degree felony murder.

In September of last year, Mora shot Jesus Aparicio in the back after an argument. Mora told detectives he didn't want to kill Aparicio but was encouraged by gang members.

Mora was certified to stand trial as an adult.

The Deseret News reports his sentencing hearing has been set for Nov. 10.
