PROVO, Utah (AP) -- The Utah County Association of Realtors says Utah County already may have seen the worst of the housing market slump.
According to its numbers, sales have increased every month since December, when they bottomed out at 269 units sold. In July, there were 445 units sold, a 65-percent increase over the end of last year.
Association CEO Taylor Oldroyd says that puts Utah County on par with early 2005.
Oldroyd says a steady influx of residents, job growth and wage appreciation could make the trend permanent.
