(KSL News) The Salt Lake Tribune reports The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has safely moved 15 missionaries from the military conflict in Georgia to Armenia.

The evacuation included the mission president and his wife, as well as 13 missionaries, including two senior couples.

An LDS Church spokesman told the Tribune that the Church will keep monitoring the situation.
