WALLSBURG, Wasatch County — The woman who died Friday at Sundance Mountain Resort while riding a zip line has been identified as Lisa Lambe, 55, of Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Lambe sustained "serious internal injuries" to her torso while riding the zip line, Utah County Sheriff's Office officials reported Saturday.

"Exactly how she sustained those injuries is still not completely clear," police reported. "She was found suspended in a harness and was brought to the ground and treated."

Lambe was unconscious and not breathing when she was found, Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon said Friday.

CPR efforts on were unsuccessful. She was later pronounced dead at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.

Lambe's husband was with her but didn't see what happened, Cannon said.

Her cause of death was still unknown Saturday. Her body was taken to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

Utah County police said they are still investigating the case to determine exactly how Lambe was injured.
