ANTIMONY, Garfield County — A search was underway Saturday evening to recover the body of 19-year-old man presumed drowned at Otter Creek State Park.
About 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Utah State Parks officials reported that a search and rescue operation was underway for a male who apparently was on the reservoir and encountered rough waters.
"The water has been choppy. Temperatures of the water are still cold," said Utah State Parks Lt. Regan Wilson.
Divers were in the water searching for the man. Sonar may be used as well, Wilson said. He could not immediately confirm whether the man had been on a boat or was swimming in the reservoir.
The man is believed to be a seasonal worker at a national park, Wilson said.
