SANDY, Utah (AP) -- A rock climber fell 30 feet to the bottom of a ledge, where he lay for four hours with a broken leg before help arrived.
The 22-year-old man was climbing with a friend and a relative above a waterfall near Rocky Mountain Trailhead.
He grabbed a rock that gave way, falling Saturday night.
Rescuers set up ropes to lower themselves and the man in a basket 200 feet to the trailhead.
The man was taken by ambulance to the University of Utah Hospital, where he was expected to recover.
