SALT LAKE CITY — Two men were arrested in connection with the Duchesne County LDS Church Burglary from the morning of October 15.

Tristan Joseph Peterson Hirst and Denver T. Bell were arrested charged with burglary, criminal mischief and misdemeanor theft, according to the Duchesne County Sheriff's Department.

Hirst confessed to Duchesne County Sheriff's Sgt. Clayton Mathews for his involvement in the break in, according to the department's Facebook page. Hirst also implicated Bell and a 17 year-old juvenile male.

Hirst and Bell also disclosed the location of stolen items and cash that were taken during the course of the break in, and the items were then subsequently collected by police officers, police said.

Both Hirst and Bell have been booked into the Duchesne County Jail, and the juvenile is being held at the Split Mountain Youth Detention Center in Vernal, police said.

All three are residents of Duchesne City.
