MAYFIELD, Sanpete County — Deputies are looking for a man they say may have intended to abduct a woman in Sanpete County at gunpoint.
A woman told the Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office she was walking down a street in Mayfield around 10:50 p.m. Monday when a car stopped next to her. The driver got out, pulled a gun, and the woman ran away.
The vehicle was described as a small white passenger car, possibly a four-door. The driver was a man with broad shoulders, about 6 feet tall.
Deputies searched for the car but did not find it.
