Forget Motown, rapper Snoop Dogg is going "mo" as in Mormon. At least that's what a hoax article would have you believe.
It might be believable. Snoop even told David Letterman he's been keeping his nose clean. "Uh yeah, just stayin' away from them prostitutes," he said.
The article is a pretty good fake. It has a picture of Snoop holding a blue Book of Mormon. It also says Gladys Knight helped convert Snoop to the LDS faith.
The article has CNN Web graphics, but CNN's entertainment page has the Web address www.cnn.com/showbiz. This fake is cnnentertainment.co.nr.
