SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Police are looking into an e-mail sent to every member of the Utah House accusing them of treason and promising death.

Republican Rep. Paul Ray of Clinton says the e-mail ran on at length about past and present legislative issues, including a bill that died this year that would have outlawed ticket quotas.

Clinton says the sender accused lawmakers of violating the Constitution and said they would be executed for treason.

Utah Highway Patrol's Capitol security personnel say they have identified the sender and are trying to make contact.
