(KSL News) Students at Wasatch High School in Heber City are mourning the loss of a high school student who died in a car accident early yesterday morning.

Sixteen-year-old Shelby McAffee was with three other students driving from Salt Lake City back to Heber when their car went off Highway 40 and rolled into the median.

Troopers say all four teens in the car were ejected. McAffee died yesterday afternoon.

Today the school brought in counselors to speak with the students. "We had a group session in our library this morning. A number of students that felt like they needed to came done and participated in a real positive session of sharing some memories of their friend," Principal Paul Sweat explained.

Two of the injured students are still in the hospital. The other has been released.
