SALT LAKE CITY -- A West Valley teen with special needs who went missing Thursday morning has been found safe.

According to the Granite School District, Cory Lindsey, 18, was unharmed and is back with his family. A district employee found him on a bus at the TRAX station on 4500 South around 4:30 p.m. after interviewing drivers there.

Lindsey went missing near Lincoln Elementary School at 450 E. 3700 South around 9:25 Thursday morning. He had been attending a special needs program at the school and was walking towards a bus stop with two supervisors and a group of other students when he slipped away.
