PLEASANT VIEW, Utah (AP) -- A Utah company is recalling 11,250 pounds of fresh ground beef that may contain pieces of metal.

The problem was discovered after Stone Meats of Pleasant View received consumer complaints. The U.S. Agriculture Department says one injury has been reported.

The products were produced on Sept. 5, and were distributed to grocery stores in Utah and Mesquite, Nev.

The 5-pound packages of beef are 73 percent lean with a sell-by date of Sept. 19. They also have the following codes: EST.6214 7, EST.6214 8, EST.6214 9 and EST.6214 10.
