SALT LAKE CITY -- In less than a week, the Salt Lake City Greek Festival begins.
The authentic food and pastries always draw big crowds, but long lines have made it harder for businesspeople to attend during lunch breaks.
That is, until this year. The festival will be including some downtown deliveries.
Friday during the lunch hour we are offering a delivery service. You can call in or fax in and order or email it. It's all online.

Volunteer cook, Elaine Zambos, broke away from a major baklava baking session to explain the Greek Festival's newest offering -- a catered lunch.
"Friday during the lunch hour we are offering a delivery service," she said. "You can call in or fax in and order or email it. It's all online."
While you won't get the exact same variety as what's being served at the tents, you will get a choice of a gyro plate, souvlaki plate or a combo plate.

"In the combo plate will be a gyro and a souvlaki, chicken or pork and it will come with a salad and rice pilaf, a roll and two little Greek cookies," Zambos said.
Orders must be placed before 11 a.m. Friday. The festival has teamed with a company called Stick Dog to make the deliveries between noon and 2 p.m.
The only catch: the delivery area is only 15 blocks.
"Stick Dog delivers from 500 West to 500 East and then from South Temple to 500 South," Zambos said.
Obviously, organizers want as many people as possible to visit the festival site to taste every bit of food offered and enjoy the full experience.
For others, this catering option means they can satisfy their cravings with a smaller sampling.
"We used to have a businessman's lunch and the lines were long and people couldn't get away for that long time period so we came up with the idea that we would do a delivery," Zambos said.
The souvlaki and gyro plates are $10 and the combo plate is $13.
