CHALK CREEK, Summit County — A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Summit County on Sunday.
Russell Alan Eldredge, of Heber City, was riding with a small group of friends about 10:30 a.m. when he crashed near 3600 e. Chalk Creek Road.
The accident happened in an area where the asphalt road connects with a gravel road, said Summit County Sheriff's Sgt. Ron Bridge.
Eldredge was wearing a helmet but suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, Bridge said.
The accident remained under investigation Sunday. Alcohol, drugs, nor speed appeared to be factors, Bridge said.
