(KSL News) Utah's fallen officers will soon be recognized for their service in a monument at the State Capitol.
Local artist Lena Toritch has been commissioned to sculpture the $1.3 million monument, which will include three statues.
The memorial will also include the names of 118 officers killed in the line of duty.
Kennecott Copper has donated about 6,000 pounds of metal for the project.
