(KSL News) Midvale police hope surveillance video will help them solve a murder.

The video shows a white van that drives by. Police want to find the driver and ask them about the murder of George Benally.

Ast. Chief Tony Mason/Midvale Police Depart: "We've captured the vehicle being driven by the suspect, or somebody who may have something to do with the homicide."

The van belonged to Benally. Authorities found him beaten unconcscious over a week ago. He later died. Benally was a registered sex offender and had a criminal history involving alcohol.

The video was taken an hour after Benally was found, and whoever drove the van ditched it also. If you have any information, call Midvale police.
