(KSL News) Police say a woman accused of killing her boyfriend confessed to the crime.

A Weber County Sheriff's deputy testified Monika Dilmaghanian said in a written statement, "I killed Nathan Daniel Harris."

Prosecutors say Dilmaghanian stabbed Harris in front of her kids in April during an argument over a pagan ritual. Dilmaghanian's attorney says his client didn't know she had stabbed him until after it happened.

Dilmaghanian is charged with first-degree murder. She'll be arraigned August 1.
