SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Gas prices in Utah are the lowest in the United States.
The AAA of Utah says in a news release that the average price for regular, self-serve gas is $2.80 per gallon.
That is a one cent drop since last month's report, but 22 cents higher than one year ago.
The only cities in Utah with higher gas prices than last month are Salt Lake City and Moab.
All of the mountain states reported an increase in gas prices except Utah and Idaho.
The national average for gas is $3.09 per gallon. That is an 11 cent increase from last month.
Hawaii has the highest gas prices in the country, at $3.69 per gallon. The highest in the lower 48 states is California, where gas is $3.35 per gallon.
