SALT LAKE CITY -- The Daniel Day Trio brought a special gift to a man in downtown Salt Lake this year.
You've probably heard Eli Potash playing his cello near the Broadway Theater. The Daniel Day Trio certainly has.A couple nights ago, the trio teamed up with Eli to play a Christmas favorite. They had another surprise for Eli -- a refurbished cello in immaculate condition. It even came with its own case.
The gift made this a very special Christmas for a special cellist.
"This is the best Christmas ever; that's what I'll say about this," Eli said.
