LOGAN CANYON -- Search and rescue crews pulled an Arizona man out of a cave in Logan Canyon after he fell while climbing.

According to Cache County sheriff's Lt. Chad Jensen, 30-year-old Benjamin Buhr was hiking in Canteen Sinks Cave, which is located about a quarter mile from the parking lot in the Sinks area of the canyon, with his sister Friday around 3:30.

Buhr's sister told deputies her brother was climbing a 10-foot wall when the rock his rope was tied to came loose and he fell. The rock landed on his chest and forearm.

Cache County sheriff's deputies and search and rescue teams responded and were able to pull him to safety. Buhr was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to Logan Regional Hospital with a broken arm.

Jensen says search and rescue crews had trained in the cave over the past month and were able to get the victim out quickly and efficiently.
