SOUTH SALT LAKE -- Two people suffered critical injuries Wednesday morning in a head-on traffic accident on 3300 South.
South Salt Lake police say the accident occurred near 1200 West when a westbound car crossed into the eastbound lanes, crashing head-on into a vehicle.
Fire crews had to pull the victim driving eastbound from his crushed car.
The eastbound lanes of 3300 South were closed until 11 a.m. while police investigated.
