(KSL News) Lots of people have been calling our newsroom tonight --most from South Jordan, some from West Jordan-- all to say that just past 9 p.m. they heard a "boom" and their houses shook.

We have called several law enforcement agencies, Valley Emergency Communications Center, Kennecott and Camp Williams. None of them has information about an explosion or problem.

According to the University of Utah earthquake Web site, there has been no new activity to report. No one has been able to give us any explanation for what it night have been.

We are still working the phones, calling other agencies, and will update this story if we can get any solid information for you.
