OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Sheriff's deputies arrested two men at the Weber County Fair after multiple fights erupted when paramedics went to assist an injured driver at the demolition derby.

Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Matt Bell says all 12 deputies on duty at the county fairgrounds were needed to restore order on Saturday night.

One man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer. The other arrested man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Bell says the fights began when authorities tried to keep people from jumping over the railings after the accident. Another fight occurred in the stands.
