PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (AP) -- Pleasant Grove has issued a citywide conservation plan for watering.

Residents in odd-numbered houses can water on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The days for even-numbered homes are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The city says no watering will be allowed on Sundays.

City officials say the secondary water supply is starting to run low and could be gone by mid-September if residents don't start conserving.

First-time violators will receive a warning hanging on the door.

For a second offense, the city will disconnect the home's connection from the secondary water system and charge $50 to reconnect. And for strike three, violators will be disconnected again and charged a $200 reconnection fee.
