OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A Bountiful man charged with fondling a nursewhile wheeling his pregnant girlfriend to the delivery room has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge.

Adam Manning has pleaded guilty to one count of attempted forcible sexual abuse, a third-degree felony in Ogden's 2nd District Court. He was originally charged with second-degree felony.

The 30-year-old faces a prison term of up to five years when he is sentenced Aug. 3.

Defense attorney Randall Marshall says psychological tests show Manning has brain brain damage from a jeep accident in Moab 10 years ago that leaves him subject to blackouts and seizures.

Marshall says Manning does not remember the October incident at McKay-Dee Hospital.

Manning was arrested after twice groping a nurse's breast and missed his child's birth.
