(KSL News) A motorcyclist is in the hospital this morning after his bike collided with a freeway barrier wall then a Utah Department of Transportation truck.
Late last night the man was driving on I-15 at 7200 South. Witnesses say they saw him in what looked like a race with a black truck.
At the same time a UDOT truck was cleaning some debris off the road. That's when the motorcyclist revved his bike's engine, lost control of the bike, slammed into the barrier wall and ricocheted into the back of the UDOT truck.
The man was flown to the hospital in serious condition.
