TAYLORSVILLE -- Two people suffered severe stab wounds and were seriously injured in an attack Wednesday evening.
Police say an assailant stabbed an 18-year-old woman in the abdomen and a 20-year-old man suffered a serious eye injury while on the Jordan River Parkway trail in Taylorsville.
Taylorsville police are in search of three men seen leaving the scene but have not confirmed any other information at this time.
