(KSL News) A two-alarm fire burned the roof off of a house in the area of 6800 South and 2500 West.
This fire started about 6:00 this evening. Firefighters from Midvale, Unified and West Jordan Fire Departments battled the blaze. They don't know how this fire started.
The top of the house was completely engulfed in flames at one point while smoke was shooting nearly 40 feet in the air.
Most of the fire is out, but firefighters are working on putting out any small flames they may have missed.
There was one woman inside the house when the fire started, but she was able to get outside to safety. She is OK.
