SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Hundreds of Special Olympics athletes will put on their bowling shoes this morning for a competition.
Two local bowling alleys will host the Special Olympics Utah's 2007 Spring Sports Classic.
Organizers say nearly 700 athletes have been training for more than eight weeks to take part in the state-level competition.
The event will be held at both Bonwood Bowl and Ritz Classic in Salt Lake City, beginning at 9 a.m.
