RIVERTON -- Two sisters who enjoy doing a lot together delivered babies on the same day at Riverton Hospital.
Chalyce Wilde and Natashe Carlile both gave birth to baby boys on Monday. The sisters say it was a bit of a race to see who would deliver first.
"We were raised in a competitive family," Natashe said.
"This is so fun because sisters already have a relationship, and we're best friends too, so that adds to the mix. But to have two kids together and share those experiences makes it more unique and more special," Chalyce said.
Chalyce's baby boy, Remington, was born at 6:08 p.m. Natashe was only a few hours behind, giving birth to "Baby Carlile" -- they're still working on a name -- at 10:02 p.m.
Baby Carlile was born with slightly underdeveloped lungs and is being treated at Intermountain Medical Center. He is doing well and will be home in about a week.
