NEW YORK (AP) — The Brooklyn Nets say a water leak due to the installation of a "new green roof" at Barclays Center was responsible for a 29-minute delay in the first quarter of their game against the Miami Heat.
Play was stopped with Miami leading 24-21 with 1:47 left on Tuesday night. When the game resumed, Miami scored the first four points and held a 33-25 lead at the end of one.
The Nets say they "have taken all necessary steps to rectify the situation."
