ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver isn't playing against the New Orleans Pelicans due to back spasms.
Shelvin Mack is replacing Korver in the starting lineup in Friday night's game.
Korver, averaging 12.3 points per game, set an NBA record this season by making 3-pointers in 127 consecutive games. His injury was announced minutes before tipoff.
Mack, in his third season, is making his seventh start of the season.
