WASHINGTON (AP) - The Education Department has created an online financial aid toolkit aimed at helping guidance counselors and others who advise students with college applications.
The toolkit can be found at http://financialaidtoolkit.ed.gov. It has details about applying for financial aid and repaying student loans. It also has other information such as documents advisers can download and information about professional development information.
It is one of the measures the Obama administration has taken to make the college application process go smoother.
