WEST VALLEY CITY — Police are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing that left a 43-year-old man in critical condition.
Neighbors found the man on the ground bleeding outside the Aspen Village apartments, 3051 W. 3500 South, about 7 a.m. He had one stab wound to the neck, said Roxeanne Vainuku, West Valley Police spokeswoman.
Witnesses told police they earlier heard fighting in one of the apartments and saw a black SUV drive away, she said. Investigators found a trail of blood between two buildings at the complex, she said, adding the man lives in one of the units.
Police did not immediately have any suspects.
