CHICAGO (AP) — Police say four young people have been shot outside a home in Chicago and one is in critical condition.

Chicago police spokesman Kevin Quaid says the shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday on the city's South Side.

Quaid says the four victims were on a front porch when two males approached and began firing.

A 15-year-old boy was shot in his chest and legs. Quaid says he was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the right leg and was taken to a hospital in stable condition. A 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl were shot in the left leg. Both were in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
