EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Zach Auguste after his solid summer league performance.
The Lakers announced the signing Monday.
Auguste averaged 5.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in four games for the Lakers in Las Vegas summer league play.
The 6-foot-10 Notre Dame product averaged 14.0 points and 10.7 rebounds for the Irish last season as a senior.
Auguste is the 16th player signed by the Lakers heading into training camp. Los Angeles added Chinese veteran Yi Jianlian to their frontcourt and re-signed veteran forward Tarik Black earlier this month.
