Outlook
Isolated to scattered showers will remain possible this evening and again Thursday morning across northern Utah. It looks like majority of the light precipitation will end before noon Thursday in the valleys, but isolated mountain showers will remain possible through the afternoon. Overnight lows will be coldest across central and southern valleys - and potentially below freezing, so blooming crops need to be protected. Friday will be a seasonable day with highs in the low 60s and mostly to partly sunny skies. As we head into the weekend, our next storm will be approaching. Saturday will be breezy with clouds building in and even some moisture giving way to mountain showers. The potentially potent storm looks to move into Utah late Saturday night and continue through Sunday and Monday. Right now, it looks like the most precipitation could fall across northern Utah with up to an inch of rain across the northern valleys. The mountains could do really well with snow, with up to a foot or more in the Cottonwoods. We'll continue to track this weekend storm through the end of the week! - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 4.22.26
