Outlook

We'll have cloudy skies overhead the next few days with periods of valley rain and mountain snow. Through the rest of this evening, some light precipitation will be possible across central and northern Utah. A better period of precipitation will come early Wednesday morning and may continue through mid to late morning. High resolution models show a break in the precipitation midday, until a stronger pulse comes in Wednesday evening and continues through Thursday morning. Some showers may linger during the day Thursday, but best chances for that look to be in central and southern Utah. Northern valley rain accumulations look to be between .25" to .50". Central and southern valleys look to be between.10" - .25" and southeastern Utah and lower Washington County less than a tenth. Northern mountain snow 4" - 8" with up to 16" in the Cottonwoods, central mountains 6" - 12", and southern mountains 5" - 10". We'll dry out Friday and stay dry and mild through the weekend. Our pattern looks to stay active next week... and we could be tracking more than one storm! (Fingers crossed) - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 2.10.26
