Outlook
Valley haze will continue to worsen through the end of the work week, which will worsen air quality and reduce visibility. Morning fog will be increasingly likely through the rest of the week, so consider adding some extra time to your morning commute. Temperatures across the Wasatch Front will remain rather stagnant the next few days with lows in the mid 20s and highs on either side of 40 degrees. There is a low chance that a disturbance passing to our east on Friday could bring enough cold air aloft that could help weaken the inversion and flush out some haze. However, with nothing to follow that and quiet weather continuing through early next week, it's likely to thicken right back up. Highs over the weekend look to warm slightly into the mid 40s with mostly sunny skies. - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 1.12.26
