PROVO — An American Fork man was killed in a fall at Rock Canyon Saturday afternoon.

Weston Huff, 33, was identified as the man who died after he fell in an area of the canyon known as "Bad Bananas" about 12:50 p.m., according to the Provo Police Department.

Huff, an experienced skydiver, was adventuring alone and BASE jumping from atop the canyon, where he had "likely experienced a parachute malfunction," police said.

The police department expressed its sympathy and offered condolences to Huff's family.
