ARCADIA, Duchesne County — Firefighters are getting a handle on a blaze burning in eastern Utah and is no longer threatening structures.

The Revola Dugway Fire sparked Wednesday, burning near Arcadia and south of Upalco in Duchesne County. By Thursday afternoon it had grown to an estimated 36 acres; and is 25% contained, according to Utah Fire Info.

Fire officials initially said the fire was threatening nearby said structures, but on Thursday said that was no longer the case.

The fire was deemed human-caused, according to Utah Fire Info, but remains under investigation.

The Revola Dugway Fire marks at least the second fire this week. In nearby Uintah County, the East Ute Plaza fire sparked on Tuesday, burning around 20 acres and leaving a firefighter injured.

The East Ute Plaza was also found to be human-caused, though it remains under investigation.
