HEBER CITY — Two men in their 30s who died following a crash east of Strawberry Reservoir on Saturday have been identified.

A box truck was eastbound on state Route 40 when it "failed to maintain their lane and left the roadway to the right" about 2:30 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Luis Silva.

The driver of the box truck then "overcorrected and crossed the center line divider" and collided with a westbound pickup truck, Silva said.

The driver of the pickup truck was identified Monday as Don C. Herbert, 39, and the passenger as Mitchell L. Farnsworth, 34. Both men died in the crash.

The driver of the box truck was transported to a local hospital and was stable, according to Silva. Authorities did not provide an update on the driver's condition

The crash remains under investigation.
