MIDVALE — A 91-year-old man was killed Monday after he collided with a stopped car on the shoulder of the freeway

Southbound vehicles were slowing near 8200 South on I-15 due to a box truck that was stopped on the right shoulder. A man driving a white Kia Forte went into the right shoulder and rear-ended the box truck at about 1 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden.
