OGDEN — The state's top prospect in the Class of 2026 has made his decision.
Fremont two-way standout Salesi Moa revealed his verbal pledge to Tennessee on Thursday in a live-streamed program by 247Sports.
Moa is the top-rated prospect in the state and a five-star athlete by the 247Sports Composite, chose the Vols over five finalists that also included Michigan, Michigan State, Utah and Washington.
He's starred on both sides of the line of scrimmage at Fremont; and the 6-foot-2, 185-pound son of former Utah tight end Ben Moa told ESPN that he plans to play both wide receiver and defensive back for head coach Josh Heupel next year.
His commitment, as well as a recent pledge from four-star athlete Joel Wyatt, vaults Tennessee's 23-player recruiting class to No. 9 nationally by 247Sports.
"Ever since I was younger, I saw Tennessee as a big stage, like Alabama and all that," Moa told 247Sports with his family around him. "I wanted to play there, and I knew I could play there. I wasn't going to let the opportunity slip away from me."
Moa is the final commitment among the top-15 players in the state, according to 247Sports. Here's who else picked up verbal commitments from the top senior prospects in Utah high school football:
